The 7 great lies of network marketing

We have all heard the story. People looking to get out of the 9 - 5 rat race and find a better life with more money any freedom discover Network Marketing. They are shown what seems to be a good product line and a simple plan for owning their own business, all they need to do is show others how it will improve their lives and how they can share in the success. The problem is that no one wants to listen to a sales pitch. Your family and listen and maybe even buy something to be polite, but it doesn't take long to figure out that they are just as uncomfortable listening as you are selling. You have been told to start conversations with people in the grocery store line or at church, but they smile, nod, then blow you off. It keeps getting harder & harder to work up the courage and start that conversation, finally you give up.

The fact is people are constantly bombarded with sales. They call you on the phone during dinner, fill your mail box with ads, pounce on you when you enter stores, even stop you in front of the grocery. The last thing anyone wants to hear is another pitch. Retailers began noticing this about ten years ago when a growing number of people started walking in the door and "Giving the Heisman", A term given to people who hold up a hand, look the other way and shout JUST LOOKING across the store. Maybe that's you. In response new approaches such as "Customer driven Sales" were developed with emphasis on making friends and building the customers trust.

In attempts to reach an increasingly resistant customer marketers found answers in the internet. It seams that whenever people have questions today they turn on the computer and look it up. At the same time more & more people every year shop online. You can shop in your pajamas, go to a variety of businesses without the drive and of course NO SALES PEOPLE. This has opened a tremendous opportunity for network marketers. It used to be that to get exposure you had to advertise on TV, the radio, or in newspapers & magazines which was way to expensive for the average person. Now, with the internet for almost no money you can go head to head with the big guys.

This new model is called attraction marketing and is a process of posting the right things in the right places. You can't just create a website and be done, nobody will know how to find you. You need to get out and market your website. If done right you will be able to sell yourself and make your website rank on the search engines. There is a number of things you need to do but with simple step by step directions even a computer beginner can do it with out very much trouble.
